This Privacy Policy forms part of the Callerado Pay Per Call Advertising Service Terms of Use ("Terms of Use") and is incorporated by reference therein. This Privacy Policy covers information you may provide to Callerado LLC ("Callerado ") when signing up to become a Advertiser for the Callerado Pay Per Call Advertising Services or User of the Callerado Tracking and Advertising Monitoring Services (the "Service") . Capitalized terms not defined herein will have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Use and related policies.
1. A Special Note About Children.
Children are not eligible to use Callerado or the Service and we ask that minors (under the age of eighteen (18)) do not submit any personal information to us.
2. Security.
Callerado has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which digitally encrypts your information as it is transferred from your computer to Callerado. We have taken measures to protect user information once it is received by the Site, including but not limited to the following:
- Employees have only limited and controlled access;
- Measures have been taken so that servers and the data stored thereon are in a secure physical location;
- Security software is used where Callerado Pay Per Call determines it to be both appropriate and cost effective;
- Employees are informed of all security protocol, and
- Web security procedures are quality-assured.
Although we strive to keep your personal information secure, no security measures are absolute and fool-proof and there is always a possibility that a security breach could occur, resulting in the release of a Member's data or information. Except as described below, we will not use or intentionally disclose any personally identifiable information about you to any unaffiliated third parties without your consent.
3. Interactive Content.
Because Callerado is an interactive service, other Users may set up order forms, surveys, polls or other mechanisms through which you can be asked to provide certain information. These features are entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to participate, you may hang up at any time. Callerado is not responsible for the disclosure or use of any information collected by other Users through the Service; other Users may not be subject to the Callerado privacy policy.
4. Usage Information.
Our web and phone servers automatically collect usage information when you visit our Service. Website usage information is information about our visitors (unregistered users of the Service) and Users that describes how our Service is used and navigated, including the number and frequency of visitors and Users to each web page and the length of their stays. Website usage information also includes the domain names and/or corresponding IP addresses (a numerical identifier for a computer on the Internet) of those who visit our website. Finally, phone usage information may include caller ID results depending on your local phone company's ability to transmit that information. To disable caller ID transmissions, please contact your local phone company.
5. How We Use Information Collected.
5.1 General
We may combine the personally identifiable information we collect from you when you use the Service with other information about you that is available to us, including survey information, affiliate and third-party website usage information and information from other sources. We may use such information in several ways, including:
- To enable us to process and verify purchases, to provide you with the goods and services you have requested, and for the purposes disclosed when you provide the personally identifiable information.
- To send Users email notifications of new Service features and topic-based news alerts if they have signed up for these announcements.
- To provide you with personalized content.
- To provide information that is useful for developing new features and services that meet Users needs.
- To conduct market research and to develop specific phone-based information products.
- To improve the content and navigation on our Service.
- To alert you about new products and services and special offers. We may also share such information with our affiliates and other third parties to provide you with goods or services requested by you. Finally, we may also use personally identifiable information to enforce our Terms and Conditions of Use or share such information with
- the issuer of a criminal or civil subpoena;
- governmental authorities when legally required to do so; or
- governmental authorities investigating a crime. We reserve the right to contact you at any time regarding Service- related problems or questions as well as changes to our Terms and Conditions of Use, our Privacy Policy, or other policies that affect you and your use of our Service.
5.2 Advertiser Sign Up
You can become a Subscribing Advertiser via co-branded pages using the co-branded online registration forms available on such pages, or a third party may transfer your information to Callerado via an API. Callerado will only use the information you provide to Callerado through co-branded online registration forms, and through Callerado online registration form, or information that is provided by an API Partner in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
5.3 Advertiser Telephone Information
Because we connect Subscribing Advertisers by telephone, we require you to enter a valid telephone number to connect with calling Customers. At no time will we share your telephone number with any calling Customer with whom you communicate. Because Callerado initiates all calls, calling Customers cannot see your telephone number—not even with Caller ID. Although the Callerado system maintains the connection between the two parties, we do not monitor or record the content of any calls unless mandated by law or unless specifically selected directly by Advertiser within the account settings.
5.4 Credit Card Information.
Callerado may collect credit card information when you sign up for and account, add money to your Subscribing Advertiser account or use your credit card to take advantage of special promotions. Callerado uses a third party to process credit cards for billing purposes. This third party does not store or retain any of a Subscribing Advertiser's personally identifiable information. In certain cases, we will also use credit card information to help us verify your identity.
5.5 Promotions and Marketing
We may from time to time run promotions in which we ask visitors for demographic information (like their zip code, state/province or age). We may also run contests on Callerado in which we ask visitors for demographic information. We use this data to tailor your experience, showing content that we think you might be interested in and displaying the content according to your preferences. We also use demographic information to determine eligibility for certain promotions and contests.
From time to time Callerado may ask Subscribing Advertisers to participate in surveys. Such surveys may ask visitors for contact information (like their email address). We use contact data from our surveys to send information about our company to third parties. We may use contact information from our surveys to send you information about our company.
6. Your Ability to Opt Out
You can notify us that you do not wish to receive information about new products and services and special offers by opting out at the time you enter your personally identifiable information on the Callerado website or by emailing us at privacy@callerado.com
7. Cookies
We employ cookie technology to help visitors and Users move faster through the website portion of the Service, and to help advertisers, agencies and networks generate dynamic telephone numbers on the basis of referral pages. When a visitor or User accesses the Callerado website and takes advantage of certain features, we place several cookies on that User's computer. A cookie is a string of information sent by a website and stored on your hard drive or temporarily in your computer's memory. This allows the website to recognize you as you move through the website without having to keep asking you for your username and password. We also employ cookie technology to store usernames and passwords to make the login process easier and faster.
8. Review and Correction
You may review and update the personal information you provide us with as part of the registration process, or unsubscribe from the Service, by accessing your Profile at http://calls.callerado.com.
9. Links
We may make content from affiliated or other third party resources, including other websites, available to you from links located on the Service. These resources are not subject to our Privacy Policy, and may have their own individual privacy policy. We recommend that you review the privacy policy at each such resource to determine how it protects your privacy.
10. Policy Modifications
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes here, so be sure to check back periodically.
11. Subscribing Advertiser Account Cancellation Procedures.
If you decide you would like to cancel your Advertiser account on Callerado, you will need to do one of the following:
